Play With Passion - Coleman Walsh, Director of MDLX Events

The 5th Annual East Coast Summer Recruiting Showcase 2018 in the nation's capital is primed to become the premier final summer recruiting event for all uncommitted boys lacrosse players in the 2019-2022 graduation classes. This is one of the official final NCAA allowable weekend to be scouted in-person by D1 coaches in the 2018 recruiting calendar. Don't miss it!  Register today!

Every D1, D2 and D3 college coach will be invited. Committed coaches are posted below.

College D1 & D3 Coaches will provide an extremely valuable recruiting discussion.

Format in 2018

2019-2022 uncommitted boys can apply for free now as individuals for the Friday Showcase and/or the Saturday Team Invitational Tournament. Friday is a showcase with an all-star game. Saturday is a 16 team championship tournament with a champion crowned.

In 2018, boys can choose to play one or both days and receive double the college recruiting exposure and a better overall experience.  MDLX events will create talented Showcase teams with players who play in the Showcase the day before, to be coached by college coaches, and compete on Saturday against club teams in a tournament style event.

All Spots for 2018 Events Open!

Note: We encourage you to apply even if we are closed or have waitlist already as there will be back-outs. We will refund you in full if we can't take you.

We keep this event small and tight to allow for maximum exposure! Only 18-22 players per team. Depending on the age of applicants we hope to separate teams by graduation year so there are 2018/2019 teams and 2020/2021 Teams. That will be determined later to best showcase the player talent.

Roster Breakdown
Attack: 4-5
Mids: 7-8
LSMids: 1-2
Close Defense: 4-5
Goal: 1-2

Note: Staff will make every effort to stay on these exact positional numbers but has right to adjust if registration requires.

Playing Time and Substitution Policy and Coaching
Each team is assigned a college or high school head coach for all games all day long. Every attempt will be made to play all players evenly as this is a pure showcase. There will most likely be a set EMO and MDD team which will allow those players more PT but that is only variance. We will run middies 'hockey style' which means one after the other. There are no set lines. It will likely change game to game.

2018 Showcase Team Coaches

We will post 2018 coaches here once locked...

All Showcase Participants receive these Custom MadGear Uniforms in 2017.

College Coaches

All college coaches have been invited and are expected.
